No child should have to spend their days fighting cancer. I’m running the 2027 Tokyo Marathon to support Endure to Cure Pediatric Cancer Foundation (E2C) and help bring hope, joy, and relief to children in treatment and the families beside them.

E2C is dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and critical support to children battling cancer. Through its Small Miracles Program, E2C provides uplifting gifts and special experiences that brighten the lives of kids during treatment. Through its Travel for Treatment Assistance Program, E2C helps families cover immediate expenses like transportation, lodging, and meals—costs that are often not covered by insurance but are necessary to get their child to treatment.

As part of Team E2C, I’ll be running alongside an incredible group of people who are all committed to going the distance for these children and their families. Training for and completing 26.2 miles will challenge me physically and mentally, but it is nothing compared to the courage these children show every single day. When the race gets hard, I’ll be thinking of them.
